August Vacation

My parents and I went on a two week trip in New England. We made stops in Massachusetts (Boston, Cape Cod), Maine (Portland, Bar Harbor, Sweden, Ogunquit), Rhode Island (Watch Hill) and Long Island (Shelter Island). We had a great time - although, it was a bit chilly in Maine. But I loved spending time with my 'mama' and 'dada' and I learned lots of new words!

The first stop was Boston. We visited my cousin Natalie and her parents, Phoebe and Charlton.

Then we headed up to Maine... Here is my first bite of a lobster roll. As you can tell, I wasn't a fan. Hopefully, it is an aquired taste - if not, I will just be a crab lover like my parents.

The next few pictures are from Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park. It was gorgeous there!

Next stop was Sweden, Maine to see my Great, Great Aunt Louise and Uncle Bill. We stayed in their cabin, and they took good care of me. Uncle Bill even took me out canoeing - they had a Sesame Street life vest that fit me perfectly!

Then we went to the southern beaches of Maine and stopped in Ogunquit. I loved playing at the wide beach... and got covered in sand. We went for a trolley ride and I can now say 'trolley' (kind of like saying 'Charlie'). And as you can see, I'm having a great time with my Dad!!

This is me having fun in the hotel when I didn't think my parents were watching... Followed by a picture of me being silly at a restaurant... Then eating several pieces of watermelon.. And the last picture shows how happy I am to be home and back in my bathtub.

March 2008

Here are a few recent pics... I still love pasta and make a huge mess everytime I eat it.

Playing on my radio flyer.

We recently moved! I had lots of fun playing in the boxes.

Here is a picture at Big Muscle Playtime. I like hanging on the rings.

January/February 2008

Life's been pretty busy lately - sorry it has taken me so long to update the blog. One of the main things that has kept me busy is walking! I'm getting faster and faster everyday. Below are a few pictures of some of my favorite things to do.
Reading... Yes, I like to recline while I read.

Puzzles...

Opening and closing drawers (as well as emptying out the contents of drawers)...

Pushing Lilly (my train) around... and carrying my toothbrush with me...

We checked out a new indoor playground in Tribeca a few weeks ago. The ball pit was such fun.

... I didn't want to let go of the balls when my Dad helped me out.

We visited the Bingham family in New Jersey in January. Aunt Barbara played with me and let me explore the house! Here are a few pictures.

Christmas 2007 in North Carolina

We spent Christmas in Raleigh again this year. I had lots of fun with Grammy, Grandpa (Buckeye Joe), Uncle Matt, Auntie Angie, Uncle Adam and of course with JACK! On the way to and from Raleigh, we stopped in DC to see Grandpa Lester and Aunt Sandra.

This is one of the many wonderful gifts I received for Christmas...

I love giving Jack hugs!

Grandpa bought a Radio Flyer to stroll Jack and me around the neighborhood.

Three of the main ladies in my life... my Grammy, Auntie and Mommy.

Lunch at Clyde's with my great Aunt Sandra - now a tradition for the holidays!

Breakfast in bed... what a wonderful concept!

December pictures

A few pictures from December...

Here I am in pajamas taking inventory of my drawers...

This is Zach - I like going over to his apartment and exploring.

White Thanksgiving

I had a crazy trip to Santa Fe, NM for Thanksgiving this year. It was definitely worth the 2 hour drive to the airport, 4 hours at the airport (including the 2 hour flight delay!), 5.5 hour flight, and hour drive to Santa Fe to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. Here are some pics of me having fun.

Here I am sledding with my Uncle Eric and my parents.

I had lots of fun with my Grandpa... including putting boxes on his head and biting his nose.

I love spending time with my Nanna!!

Here I am on a see-saw with my Dad and Grandpa.

Second Birthday Celebration in Raleigh

We went to Raleigh this weekend to have a second birthday celebration with my Grammy, Grandpa, Uncle Mark, Aunt Kathy, Auntie Angie, Uncle Adam, Uncle Matt, Uncle Matt's girlfriend, and Jack. Uncle Mark and Aunt Kathy drove all the way from Ohio to celebrate with me!

This is the first time I've played with a football. Most likely, it will not be the last...

Auntie Angie made cupcakes for me - yummy!!

I like to follow Grammy around...

Grandpa took Jack and me for a ride around the house.

I helped Jack pick out a pumpkin for Halloween.
